As Pyypl continues to scale, we are looking for a Internal Auditor to help us scale our platform through the next big growth-phase.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

We seek a highly skilled Internal Auditor to join our team at Pyypl. The Internal Auditor will play a crucial role in ensuring our financial operations and processes' integrity, efficiency, and compliance. This position reports directly to the CFO and collaborates closely with various departments to assess and enhance internal controls.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive audits of financial transactions, revenue assurance, and collections processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with established policies and procedures.
• Evaluate the classification of payables and receivables as short-term or long-term and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Review and assess accounting policies and practices to ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance with applicable standards (GAAP/IFRS).
• Analyze intra-group agreements and arrangements to identify potential risks and ensure transparency in financial reporting.
• Evaluate tax planning strategies and practices to ensure compliance with tax laws and optimize tax efficiency.
• Identify areas of improvement in internal controls and operational efficiencies, providing actionable recommendations to management.
• Prepare audit reports detailing findings, recommendations, and corrective actions to be taken by management.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS POSITION?

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. A relevant professional certification (e.g., CIA, CISA, CFE) is highly desirable.
• Proven experience (5 years+) in internal audit, risk management, or compliance functions, preferably within the FinTech industry or financial services sector.
• Strong knowledge of internal auditing standards, risk assessment methodologies, and regulatory requirements.
• Familiarity with financial products, technologies, and FinTech-related processes.
• Proficient in data analysis and the use of relevant tools (e.g., Excel, data visualization software).
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
• Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to think critically and independently.
• High ethical standards and integrity, maintaining objectivity and confidentiality throughout the auditing process.
• Proactive, adaptable, and able to work effectively in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment.
• Strong knowledge of the IIA standards and auditing and control practices
