As Pyypl continues to scale, we are looking for a Internal Auditor to help us scale our platform through the next big growth-phase.

Key Responsibilities:

• Payments Processing:
  1. - Manage the end-to-end payment process, including receiving, verifying, and recording incoming payments.
  2. - Ensure accuracy and timeliness in payment processing.
• Transaction Monitoring:
  1. Regularly review transaction records and statements to identify discrepancies, errors, or irregularities.
  2. Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies or issues promptly, maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Compliance and Regulations:
  1. Stay updated on financial regulations and compliance requirements to ensure that all payments adhere to legal and industry standards.
• Reporting:
  1. Generate reports related to payment activities, reconciliation, and financial performance for internal stakeholders.
  2. Provide recommendations for process improvements based on data analysis and insights.
• Documentation and Record-Keeping:
  1. Maintain accurate and organized payment records and documentation for auditing and compliance purposes.
  2. Assist in the archiving and retrieval of financial documents as needed.

Requirements

• A BA or MA degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality and discretion.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
• Proven experience in payment processing, financial operations, or a similar role (2 years of experience in payment processing in consumer-focused business).
• Understanding of financial regulations and compliance standards.
• Proficiency in using financial software and tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong English communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
